Contents of Basic Plus
An outline of the contents of the Basic Plus Will is that it
contains the same content as the Basic Will (spouse and children)
or Basic Will (children) with the following additional matters
being able to be included if you wish:
- provisions concerning disposal of body;
- nomination of sustitute executor;
- extended powers for the executor beyond those of the statutory
powers;
- to make specific gifts of cash or personal property to
specified persons. The residuary estate (that which is left
over after specific gifts) to the spouse or children as in the
Basic Will options;
- provision for an alternate distribution of residue to relatives
in the event of there being no spouse, children or grandchildren to
inherit; and
- provision for the appointment of a guardian for children who
are minors.
