Checklist – Basic Plus Will (spouse and children)
The information requirements for a "Basic Plus" Will (spouse and
children) are as follows:
- your details;
- spouse details;
- children details;
- grandchildren details;
- substitute executor (if any) details;
- beneficiaries (if no spouse, children or grandchildren survive
you) details; and
- guardian (if any) of minor children details.
The "details" needed are:
- full name
- relationship to you
- address
- occupation
- date of birth
You also need to specify:
- your wishes (if any) concerning disposal of body; and
- details of specific gifts (if any) you wish to make including a
description of the gift and details of the beneficiary.
